In July of 2019 AVA artists spent a warm Sunday afternoon touring the sculpture gardens of Eric & Molly Gunderson and AVA Artist Greg Koeppel. Eric and Molly Gunderson are both artists, who have been working for decades on the art you see on their lawn. Their sculptures are both unique and unpredictable. You can walk the footpath, made-up of feet of course. George Washington relaxes in the tub with his wooden false teeth setting on a stand next to him. In some cases the Gundersons' art is mind bending. Check out the six-foot smoking baby. And, just what is that head coming up out of the ground? It looks friendly enough.
